So Far Behind

So I lack greatly in my blogging but life goes on I suppose.
So my "baby" is 18 months now and the lazy days of summer are more jam packed than ever. We had a marvelous time in Seaside, OR last week with the Waggoner clan. (More details and pictures to follow.) Now we look forward to the craziness that is May. Mommy continues her weight loss quest which really is a losing battle right now. While I go to the gym 3 times a week, at the crack of dawn I might add, I continue to eat most anything that sounds good to me. The calorie equation remains unbalanced. Aaron and I are knee deep in continue to help our family plan the much larger Waggoner Family Reunion. (See http://sites.google.com/site/familywaggonerreunion/ if you're interested.) We then move on the the church campout and then Michelle has continuing education.
Chloe had her 2nd dance recital but 1st one without Mommy this last weekend. (Again, details, pics and hopefully a video coming soon.) She did fantastic. I don't gush much about my kids but she did a great job and I am so proud. She will continue dance during the summer. Sadie is our little dare devil and the life of, well, everything. She is a good jumper, is very active and has an amazing vocabulary for a 1 and a half year old. It is fun to watch their relationship grow as they depend on each other and fight with each other. They are also into "play wrestling." It keeps us entertained.
Well, the laundry is ready to be rotated and it is time for bed. Still trying to catch up from vacation!

Well I didn't make it back on before the end of February so I technically remain a month behind in my resolution however it sure bets the heck out of last years measly 2 posts. I intended to get Valentine's day pictures up (still may do that) and soon it will be Chloe's birthday. Can't believe my girl is turning 3 years old! Time flies as they say. I also can't believe that I am having a Lightening McQueen birthday party for my girl either but she does love Cars. I have seen that movie lots along with Daddy and Nana.
Well, it's a short and sweet blog tonight. I really would like to word vomit and vent all this drama and frustration surrounding my life these days but I don't think that would be a good idea. I just wish that people fighting with each other would keep my office out of it but I can't turn a blind eye to breaking the law either. Grrrr!
I will have Chloe's birthday pictures up and catch up on my posts. Maybe I'll even get ahead! Here's to wishful thinking!!!

My one and only New Year's Resolution was to update the blog at least once a month this year. Hopefully I will get on here more than that. We started off the year pretty uneventful especially since December was so jam packed with birthdays, Christmas, Christmas festivities, the birth of our niece and Sadie's first birthday. On Jan. 2nd we had a birthday party for her. Then on Jan. 10th Chloe, along with Mommy, was in her first dance recital but no one could take pictures up on the stage.
So here we are and it's Feb. 1st so hopefully I will have another post by the end of the month!

Chloe and Sadie are becoming great friends and playmates.

Chloe at dance class.
Sadie has figured out how to get in and out of lots of places.
Chloe took this picture as we rang in the new year at 12 EST/9 PST. We think we're sneaky parents!
